The board gathers alternative postcards from Cosenza: a counterpart to the classic images of self-celebrative, and a representation of what is the city in the collective imagination, by a variation about the wall. / La bacheca raccoglie cartoline “alternative” su Cosenza: contraltare alle classiche immagini autocelebrative, e raffigurazione di quella che è la città dell’immaginario collettivo, attraverso la variazione sul tema del muro. /

The dolls in the doll represent different urban realities that can not communicate with each other. A lack of a network and of the willingness of a linking between culture, art, universities, institutions, and citizens. This way Italy becomes a container of watertight compartments. / Le bambole nella bambola rappresentano le diverse realtà cittadine che non riescono a comunicare tra di loro. Manca una rete e la volontà delle parti che colleghi cultura, arte, università, istituzioni, cittadini. Cosenza diventa un contenitore di compartimenti stagni.

Urban Rip wants to show the hidden face beneath the surface of the city. The rips on Cosenza map are as walls (physical or perceived) that act as a filter to hide uncomfortable landscapes. / Urban Rip vuole mostrare il volto nascosto sotto la superficie della città. Gli strappi sulla carta di Cosenza sono in corrispondenza dei muri (fisici o percepiti) che fanno da filtro a realtà scomode da vedere.
